This milestone is located at about 1km west of the "Inumeyado" of the old Koshu Kaido.
And this milestone is located on the east side of Koitsuka village at an altitude of 543m in the foothills of Ogiyama.
So, the milestone has been called Koitsuka milestone.
Once upon a time, two mounds of this milestone were on each sides of the road.
The north side of the mound but had been cut by widening construction of the road.
The south side of the mound has left the original form.

恋塚一里塚は日本橋から21番目の一里塚です。
甲州街道の犬目宿より約１kmの距離にあります。
扇山山麓の標高５４３mの恋塚集落の東側に位置しています。
昔、ここの一里塚は道の両側にありました。
しかし、北側の塚は道路の拡幅工事で削られてしまいました。
南側の塚は元々の形を残しています。
キャッシュはこの一里塚の近くに設置しました。
