Spent too much at Christmas? Drank too much at New Year? Wondering what to do with yourself in January when the weather is not good enough for long geaocaching trip and you are waiting for payday? How about coming along to Bourne and join some other geocachers at a local bar/eatery for an afternoon of chat, compare puzzles and experiences? Sunday 25th January 2015 between 12 midday and 5pm.
This is the 2nd annual event at this venue. Last years Cached Out Event was quite a success, so hoping to repeat this year. There are very few events in South Lincolnshire and a lack of variety in the types of caches. Bourne is a small market town on A15 North of Peterborough and South of Sleaford. There are many traditional caches, multi and a Wherigo caches in the town. There are many series within a 20 mile radius. Myself and some local cachers plan to put out a few new ones before the event. There will be a FTF at the event, cards will be provided to sign your name to go into the draw. There will be some activities for young and old geocachers alike - colouring, perhaps Mingle Bingo, or I am trying to devise something else for your enjoyment! The venue is The Jubliee Garage http://www.jubileegaragebourne.com/ which has an interesting theme of its own. They serve food from 12 midday to 5pm. There is parking at the Wellhead Park car park for free and at maximum of two hours free at Co-operative car park (although I they do not patrol!). Or you may be lucky and find a space on the main road.
