Alexander City, with a population of over 15,000 is located on the shores of beautiful Lake Martin with 44,000 acres of clean sparklin water and 750 miles of shoreline dotted with cabins, condominium, restaurants, marinas and Wind Creek State Park. Alexander City is also the home of Russell Corpation and Central Alabama Community College.

The Alexander City Fire Department provides citizens and transients of Alexander City an effective, well-trained team of professionals to protect their lives and property through fire prevention and education, emergency medical services, fire supression, rescue services and emergency management.  The fire department has 49 cross trained Fire and EMS employees.  My father is the Asst. Chief and has worked here for 35 plus years.
