I recently noticed that Waterloo is now void of night caches, a likely result of the urban environment, the proximity of homes, and local park hours. But that void is no more. This night cache will take you to the outskits of Waterloo and removed from the neighbours.
Instructions
At the posted coordinates you will find a trailhead for a well used forest trail. Near the trailhead you will begin to see blaze (Orange) firetacks. Follow these blaze tacks along the trail until you spot the stealth (golden brown) firetack. Once you find the stealth tack stop and scan around the forest for the double ice (white) fire tacks looking like two eyes. Go to the double ice tacks and search the tree for a small container. Inside the container will be a puzzle indicating the final coordinates. You can return to the trail and continue your journey to the final or bushwhack in a straight line, it's totally up to you.
Before you head out please look at the attributes. I would hate for people to arrive and be disappointed that they could not solve the puzzle. You will likely have to deal with snow in winter at both stages. Good luck and happy night caching!
Geocheck provided if you want to check your solution in the field, but likely won't be required.
