This should be a quick cache and go. Back road not much traffic, parking off the side of the road very close.
Across the road is what was the Royal Ednor Hotel / Restaurant. It was abandoned several years back when new owners bought the place, not sure exactly when. The building now is over grown and looks like the roof is about to fall in. I remember coming here as a kid back in the early 1980’s to eat and do a bit of hiking. I was told that this was a Hotel also but I remember it as a Restaurant. I was told that they were trying to put in a camping ground also back then. Used to have indoor horseshoe pits in the barn. Late 1990’s early 2000’s it was a bar, threw a few darts here. Old stone walls, interesting place. As a kid I remember hiking to a tree that had a survey mark on it made by the Holland Land Company back in the mid 1850’s when they owned most of the land in the area. Don’t know how true it is, but that’s what I was told and remember.
Congrats to Team Sugar Glider for the FTF!
