.
Villain: Hugo Drax, played by Michael Lonsdale
Woman: Dr. Holly Goodhead (seriously), played by Lois Chiles
Song: Moonraker, performed by Shirley Bassey (her third title song in the Bond series)
Memorable character: Jaws again (Richard Kiel), along with his tiny girlfriend Dolly. Jaws becomes a good guy in this film after Drax reveals that he will kill him and his girlfriend for not being perfect human specimens.
Memorable stunt: Bond's fight with Chang in a Venice glass factory, ending with Chang being thrown through the plate glass window of the clock tower and onto a piano. If you want to visit this place on your next trip to Venice, look for the Torre dell'Orologio overlooking St. Mark's Square.
Memorable quote: Bond to Holly: Where'd you learn to fight - NASA? Holly: No, Vassar.
The producers went to extremes in Moonraker, with flights to the moon, chases, fights, and gadgets galore. Even though the movies were getting away from their original Connery roots, the film was still a big hit.
