Vasona Natives Traditional Cache

This cache is located near the Native Plant Trail at Vasona Lake County Park. It's not exactly a trail, more of a smallish native plant garden where you can see some native plants and take a look at the lake through one of those big viewers that you usually see on piers. (But it's free here!)

You're looking for a hanging bison. The cache is not hidden in the native plant garden, and you don't need to disturb any of the plants in the garden to find it. The nearest entrance is the trailhead on Garden Hill Drive off of Lark Ave. It can get busy here, but usually less so than the rest of the park since it's a bit removed from the main trail. Park hours are 8:00am to sunset. Happy hunting!
