This is a casual drop in event. There will be a prize or two, sharing of some Christmas stories, and maybe even some new caches in the area. This event is CHRISTMAS themed - while I don't want to offend anyone's religion or values, this event will be primarily geared towards Christmas and will have Christmas themed talk and activities. Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend, and this event is family friendly (our 10-year old is planning a small gift exchange game for any other kids that are coming - kids please feel free to bring a small wrapped gift to playthe game with!).
We hosted a similar event last year but kind of got snowed out - let's hope for some better weather this year! This year we are adding a Christmas cookie exchange to the festivities! Bake up a batch (or two) of your favourite christmas cookies, bring in a plate and trade with other cachers! Everyone who brings some cookies will get to take a plate or tray of cookies home. While not mandatory, it's a great way to spread the Christmas cheer! Pasha88 will be baking up her award winning chocolate chip and shortbread - these cookies won Judge's Choice for best overall baked cookies at the 2014 Rockton Fair, so you won't want to miss out!
