I decided to place a Cockpit Series of caches depicting the views on final approach.
This cache is situated at Blaauwpan dam in Bonaero Park, which is seen on final approach for runway 21L at OR Tambo International Airport. As you drive towards the end of Mirabel Street as it starts curving to the right, take the gravel slipway to the left from the main road to the main gate. There's a lot of pot holes en route as you take a slow drive in at the gate and around the dam. The cache is a little past the fishing area, and a slight walk to find near the reeds is needed. It's in a green official Geocache container big enough for trackables. Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday 8:00-17:00 (Winter) and 7:00-19:00 (Summer) BYOP...
