Geocache Description:

He hid over 500 caches!!! thats what he did, As Lloyd Braun would say, "am I crazy, or is that a lot of caches"?

I created this cache as a tribute to 'Lost From New York' to show my appreciation for all of his hard work and dedication in placing and maintaining all of his caches for us to find...

Thank You Lost From New York!!!

Please Note!!! Per geocaching guidelines a log must be signed BEFORE you can post your 'Found It' online, I will be checking my logs periodically and if YOU haven't signed it I will delete YOUR 'Found It' post online, no ifs, ands or buts about it...

THE OFFICIAL LOG IS AN OFFICIAL LOG, NOT A SCRAP PIECE OF PAPER, YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE OFFICIAL LOG, THANK YOU!!!

PLEASE READ THE PAPER INSIDE THE BUCKET BEFORE YOU SIGN THE LOG, THANK YOU!!! Also about that paper, it says on it that you do not have to do something, BUT it has been brought to my attention that YOU DO have to do what I said on the paper that you don't have to do, lol, you will see what I mean when you get there, I have upped the D rating a couple ticks to make up for it...

This cache is kind of a hard one to rate, it is a little bushwhack from the reservoir road, and you do have to cross a little brook, although it is an easy cross, but that's why I made it a T3.5... The difficulty rating is a little hard to determine too, I had to hide it real good being its a 5 gallon bucket, and it may take some people longer to find the log than others...It should be pretty obvious where its hidden though, it's real close to a 4 foot high stump, you should bring the container out toward that stump, that is the best side to grab it from, you should only have to move a couple things...

I decided to make this a large container for a few different reasons, one reason was to match the large amount of caches hidden by lost From New York(500)

Another reason was because I have always wanted to hide a bucket size cache since I first learned it was recognised as a size by Groundspeak...

The last reason is just because we need more large size hides around our area, as of this publishing I had 1,433 finds of which ONLY 5 of them were a large size container...

Please make sure to put the cover back on tight, and please leave the cache the same way you found it...

I would also like to ask you to please not post any pictures or descriptions of the container, or anything else about the cache itself, lets keep it an unknown for the next cacher just as it hopefully was for you...

The log you need to sign is in a container, in a baggie, in the bucket, and obviously there is plenty of room for swag...

Please put everything back as you found it...

Thank you, good luck and have fun!!!

Congratulations Lost From New York on your 500+ cache hides!!!

Well from what I am hearing it looks like LFNY did end up finding the log first after all, Congratulations Gerry on the well fought battle to get this FTF!!! it took some doing, but in the end you prevailed...

Also Congratulations Bevan and Brenda for the co-FTF!!!
