De mythe van de regenboog
Het verhaal gaat dat aan het einde van de regenboog zich een pot met goud bevindt. Deze wordt echter goed bewaakt door de zogeheten leprechauns. Dit zijn kabouterachtige wezens die zich bevinden in de natuur. Maar niet iedereen kan zomaar bij de pot met goud komen. Om bij het einde van de regenboog te komen, zul je namelijk eerst een raadsel moeten oplossen:
"Er was eens een jongen dat graag zijn oma wou bezoeken. Om wat gezelschap te hebben tijdens zijn reis, nam hij z'n hond, konijn en een paar appels mee op pad. Onderweg kwam hij voor een grote verrassing te staan, de brug over de rivier was stuk! Daarom lag er een roeibootje klaar voor de mensen die toch de oversteek wouden maken. Er was echter één probleem; het bootje was erg krap. De jongen kon daarom steeds maar één ding met zich meenemen in de roeiboot naar de andere kant. Hij kan de hond en het konijn echter niet samen achterlaten op de wal, want de hond zal achter het konijn aangaan. De jongen kan het konijn ook niet achterlaten met de appels op de wal, want dan zal het konijn deze heerlijk verorberen. Hoe vaak moet de jongen de oversteek maken, zodat zowel z'n hond, als z'n konijn, als z'n appels ongedeerd aan de overkant komen?"
Om het einde van de regenboog te bereiken, zul je een kleine berekening moeten doen.

The myth of the rainbow
There's a story that tells that there's a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. This pot of gold is well guarded by the so-called leprechauns. These are goblin-like creatures that live in nature. Not anyone gets access to the pot of gold. To get to the end of the rainbow, you need to solve a little puzzle:
"There once was a boy who wanted to visit his grandmother. To have some company during his journey, he took his dog, rabbit and a few apples with him. Along the way he suddenly finds himself stuck, the bridge to cross the river was broken! A rowing boat lay ashore for the people who still wanted to make the crossing to the other side of the river. There was only one problem: The boat was very small, and the boy could, therefore, only take one thing with him into the rowing boat to other side. He can't leave the dog and the rabbit together behind, because the dog will go after the rabbit. The boy also can't leave the rabbit together with the apples behind, because then the rabbit will eat the apples. How often must the boy cross the river so that both his dog, his rabbit and his apples come safe and sound to the other side of the river?"
