Expect a hike of around 45 minutes. It is not necessary to do any bushwacking, but it may be a slightly shorter hike to do so. This is hidden next to a new logging road that was made sometime earlier this year after the tornado in April. Please wear orange during hunting season unless you have a desire to be written up in the newspaper as a hunting accident fatality. Have fun, and be careful...it's a long way back to the trailhead for someone with an injury. Also, be advised that you should not follow this new logging road uphill from its intersection with the trail, as it crosses private property, and the landowners have clearly indicated that they do not want people accessing the trail using the new logging road.
