in our disclaimer.
To Celebrate the only true Pi day of our lives. Pi is the 16th of the greek alphabet, it also helps define the circumference to the diameter of a circle. this event is being held at Pittstown Volunteer Emergency Corps.
The event starts at 9:26am and will last 5,358 seconds (10:55).
One of the events will include figuring out the circumference of a circle around the building, since there is a building in the way you'll have to use your GPSr in order to solve. Please make guesses rounded to the 7th digit after the decimal point. The person who has the closest answer will win a Apple Pie
From 9:26-10:37 all trackables/geocoins will be discoverable only. 10:38-10:55 is the only time allowed for swapping TBs and Geocoins. There will only be 979 seconds of TB swapping.
I'm trying to work on a Bingo card of geocaching statistics in relation to Pi.
Tenebrus is also thinking of other geocaching/Pi related challenges to do during the event. I hope everyone can join us here, then cache their way to Pittsfield, MA for "Pi Day" in the Berkshires!
