Geocache Description:

This is the fourth in the Beatrix Potter series that myself and Green Panther are creating. It can link to the other three cachers, Squirrel Nutkins, Mrs.Twiggy Winkle and Hunka Munka that we have placed recently. You can also include the other cachers that we have put around our home town of Glossop.

As mentioned, this cache can be linked to the others in the Beatrix Potter series we have recently placed in the locality. You may also want to look for other cachers we have released, especially Beautiful Quarry, which is in the vicinity of Mrs Tiggy Winkle.

The route to Peter Rabbit's warren is relatively easy from the parking waypoint and can be accessed with young cachers in prams! There are other routes from a pathway that can be very muddy in the autunm/winter months. You can also access the cache by taking a walk through the Heath and coming from the Hamlet of houses at the bottom end of this uneven road. To make this a really good walking route (it can take 2-3 hours), you can also try to get to other cachers we have placed in the area which includes;

Haybecks

In Disguise

Park Life

Squirrel Nutkins

During the autumn/winter months it is best to wear stout shoes/boots and be prepared for changes in the weather. When the days become lighter and the weather improves, you'll be rewarded with lovely views of Glossop on this circular route.
