Meet at Gorple stones with a cuppa and a slice of cake.
The event starts at 1pm and will start to break up about 1.30pm
I have listed two possible parking places. The Widdop res routes will take about 90 mins and the Worsthorne route 2 hours or so to walk from.
It is possible to mountain bike to the GZ from both parking spots, if you have the legs, lungs and skill. This will take 40 mins from either start point.
Walking back to the car parks will take about half the time of the climb because most of it is downhill and if you are cycling, no time at all.
There are loads of cache on this part of the moors, so best to make a day of it.
Please remember that this is the shortest day and the sun will set at 3.53pm meaning that it will be dark between 4pm and 4.45pm depending on the weather, so if you plan to hang around on the moor bring a torch.

A new Gorple stones Earth Cache will come live on the day and it starts with the letter X, just in case you need one.
FTF Since this is not a nice liesurely pub sit down, no item needed, I will take the names of all who attend and pull a name at random from a hat. That person will be able to claim first to find on this event.
