A pretty easy to get cache, when your in the area.
This is a good place to fish (down around the bridge) or put your boat in and head down the canal. During duck hunting season this area gets pretty populated as hunters like to use the canal on the back side of the levee to get to their hunting spots. We use this area as a rest/stretch your legs place when riding motorcycles around the lake.
Cache is located in an area that is close to where we used to hunt cows. We worked for the people who owned the land on the other side of the highway back in the 70's. I was kind of thinking of this as I set the cache. I had an old mossy colored mare I rode back when I was a kid, who did not like to go through any kind of ditch or ravine. She didn't mind going down, just didn't want to come out the other side. You had to tell her "Up Mossy Up" to get her to climb out of the ditch. While putting this cache I was reminded of saying that....hence the name.
