Memorable character: Bibi, a young figure skater who tries to seduce James Bond. Fortunately, he shows some restraint in this instance and rejects her advances.
Memorable stunt: In the opening sequence, Blofeld returns to take control of Bond's helicopter by remote control. Bond manages to take control back, picks up Blofeld's wheelchair with the rungs of the chopper, and drops him into a chimney.
Memorable gadget: Q's Identograph, which preceded today's facial recognition software by decades.
Memorable quote: Lisl: Oops, me nightie's slipping. Bond: So's your accent.
Second Memorable quote: Bond: Forgive me Father, but I have sinned. Q (Disguised as a priest): That's putting it mildly, 007.
In this film the producers backed off a bit from the excesses of Moonraker and tried to get back to Bond's roots with more intrigue and less gadgetry. The film still was a big success.
