CONGRATS TO DEN OF EARTH -- FTF!!!!
There is no physical cache elements placed, except for the final. All coordinates are N39 21.XXX and W 084 18.XXX, so only the last three decimal digits of north and west will need to be calculated from the information that you will find in your surroundings as you go from marker-to-marker.
Once you find the marker you will use the Birth Year to calculate the North Coordinates and the Passing Year to calculate the West Coordinates.
At each stage you will get 2 numbers that you will need to SUBTRACT from the years to get the coordinates to the next stage. HERE IS AN EXAMPLE: The beginning coordinates are N 39° 21.152 W 084° 18.619. Once you find the marker subtract the first number from the Birth Year to get the last 3 digits of the North Coordinates. Subtract the 2nd number from the Passing Year to get the West Coordinates.
Example Clue Provided for Stage 1:
John Wayne’s Nickname or a popular male dog name (4 letters) N: -1822, W: -1380
On the marker you will find the birth and passing year. Subtract 1822 from the birth year and 1380 from the passing year. Your answer will be 160 and 631 meaning the coordinates to Stage 2 are N39 21.160 and W084 18.631. Continue with this method until you reach the final.
