This is the first stop on my cancer journey and your first stop on this series. I was fortunate to find out soon after my diagnosis that thyroid cancer is curable by surgery and a radioactive treatment. This Cancer Journey series takes you to my stops along the way. I am a changed person because of this diagnosis, but I beat it like many others have beat cancer.
