This morning I was on my first hike in George Bush Park for quite some time, grabbing a few caches along the way. After I found the last one, I decided to head out into the woods and place a few caches along my way back. As this cache name implies, I headed out to the west and had a nice little hike out in the woods. the terrain out here is not too bad, but there is a lot of debris (trees, sticks, plastic containers, etc.) and after rain this place could get quite flooded. Please be careful out here and make sure you bring lots of water. Also, always be on the lookout for the critters that inhabit George Bush Park - deer, feral hogs, coyotes, bobcats, snakes, ticks, etc. I hope you enjoy a nice hike in the woods!
This cache is in an area with not a lot of undergrowth and it was relatively straightforward hike due west from the paved trail. It could be better or worse depending on your approach. Enjoy the cache!
