Geocache Description:

A not so used bus stop at the corner of Howes Road and Putty Road.

History:

Although there is little information about this road, I believe Howe's Road is named after John Howe. John Howe was a farmer and the chief constable at Windsor. He was interested to know if there were good lands between Windsor and the Hunter Valley. If you have ever travelled the Putty Road you have travelled in the footsteps of John Howe, the Explorer. He was also the first to operate a Ferry Service across the Hawkesbury in 1812.

*If anyone else can confirm this let me know*

The Cache:

A simple park and grab at the local bus stop which appears to get little use, I'm not sure if there is even a service here now. You are looking for a small magnetic key holder.
