4.23. Unarchiving a Geocache

The archiving of a geocache is intended to be a permanent status. That is why only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ staff have the capability to unarchive it. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if it meets the current Geocache Listing Guidelines.

If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived.

Bird Sphere

S (AA) 5(A).712 E 150 58.(DFA)

Bird Sphere is a (A) metre diameter steel sculpture made up of different migratory bird species.

The sculpture symbolises the different cultural groups that have come to call bankstown their home.

Migratory birds are a vital part of nature and can be used as a metaphor for the Migratory patterns of the Bankstown community.

Flowing lines represent water ripples, migratory patterns and pressure fronts that birds use for flight.

The use of Birds in the work explores the diverse ecology of Shortland Brush Lake and the surrounding area that has recorded over (BC) bird species
