Geocache Description:

Helensburgh skating pond is situated at the top of Sinclair Street.

The skating pond used to be popular in the winter for skating and curling, and in the summer for model boats.  Now, however, it has reeds, water plants and an island which make it a wonderful environment for wildlife. On a nice day there are plenty of muggles and duggles about, so if you are visiting this cache it is recommended that you bring bread/bird seed for the ducks.

Parking is approximately 150m away, with a level path suitable for wheelchairs and buggies.  The cache itself is high up, suitable for tall people with long arms or monkeys.

Congratulations to hoops1985 on FTF :-) *Please note there is no need to get wet to get this cache - it is for monkeys not fish! I have amended the co-ordinates but they may not be accurate *
