Climbing-Cache for Adventurers :)
Doing this cache will send you on a cool, but very challenging hike/climb to a gorgeous lagoon.
The Start:
This cache is located at the lagoon of Railay. To get here from Railay East, walk to the south end, then make a right by the shop and head in the direction of Pranang Beach. After 2-3 minutes you will find a shelter on the right hand side and the well-marked trail to the lagoon starts on the left.
The Trail:
This trail is quite demanding and involves a lot of climbing and just before the end you will have to downclimb three medium-sized walls of 5-8 meters. Please only attempt this cache if the trail is somewhat dry and you are in good physical shape. There are ropes there to help you, but they tend to be more slippery than descending in a rockclimbing-style. Please do not go down unless you feel comfortable doing it. No cache is worth risking your health for.
Recommendations:
Bring solid shoes and do not wear anything that can't get dirty ;) If you go at high tide, the lagoon is most beautiful and you can even go for a swim there! And most important: Go here with multiple people or tell somebody where you are heading!
The Cache:
The GPS signal is very poor here, so here are some pointers. Once you get to the actual lagoon, the cache is hidden near the waterfront at the boulder on the right hand side. It is big enough to hold TBs!
