Geocache Description:

In San Juan County on Alakali Point Road.


The other night I was lying in bed and my mind would not shut off.  I got to thinking about Geocaching and thought about a challenge cache about jobs/occupations/professions.  So here is what I thought would be a good Challenge cache.

This is a Challenge cache.  The cache is at the posted coordinates.  You must find 30 geocaches with an occupation or profession in the cache title.  These occupations/professions (both past and present): you must be able to earn a wage or you get paid for the work.

To qualify, YOU MUST: List the GC Cache Number, date found, and title of cache. If you use GSAK, put a link to this information. If you make a list on Geocaching.com, make a link so I can verify the information.

These MUST be a profession/occupation.  A couple of books to confirm an occupation are the “Occupational Outlook Handbook” (On-line) and “Encyclopedia of Careers and Vocational Guidance”.  I will NOT accept aid, career, employee, father (as in Dad, pop, pa), job fair, management, mother, oldest profession in the world, personnel, pension, retire, retirement, skills, vocation, and work or working.  I will also NOT accept Geology for Geologist or Type for Typist.  It must be a profession or occupation.

I will accept occupations that are within a word.  Example:  Screenwriter, Songwriter.  There are some very general words that were good in my book.  Example: Cleaner, Clerk, Collector, Controller, Guard, Packer, Performer, Retiree, Retired, Tuner, and Worker.  I will also accept “Father” IF it is the RELIGIOUS father.  If it is not clear in the title, you must prove it.  I only put mainly male names down.   Example:  Cowboy/Cowgirl would both be accepted.  Good luck and have fun.
