Glenn Allen, ropes, passed away early in 2014. He was our best buddy. He introduced us (taz(M) and taz(F)) through rock climbing. We did many climbing trips together - climbing Devil's Tower in Wyoming, the Shawangunks in New York, and of course our local Looking Glass Rock and Linville Gorge. It was on a climbing trip that we did our first geocache and introduced him to geocaching. We did many epic caches together - the Tube Torcher series, Athenas Trilogy and many other local caches. He placed over 100 caches himself. He was an avid hiker and bushwhacker. He loved Panthertown Valley and placed several classic multis there. We have adopted several of his caches. This cache is placed in a place he loved and of course involves a little bushwhacking in his honor. Glenn lived life to the fullest and at the end of every adventurous day with him he always exclaimed "It was a good day".
