However, you must complete a challenge before claiming the find.
A challenge cache requires geocachers to meet a geocaching challenge
related qualifications or series of tasks before the challenge can be logged.
The American Flag consists of 50 stars
And thirteen horizontal stripes, 7 Red and 6 White.
The 50 white stars on the flag represent the 50 states of the Union.
The 13 strips represent the 13 original colonies of the United States.
For this challenge you need to put together a CACHE Flag.
A CACHE FLAG
50 Stars which represent the Difficulty and Terrain of finds.
7 Red stripes represent the Thorn scratches.
6 White stripes represent the Poisonous Plants we walk and dig in to find
a cache.
THE CHALLENGE
50 Stars
Find enough caches that the difficulty and terrain rating adds up to 50 stars.
(Example: Difficulty ★★★ Terrain ★★ = 5 Stars)
Find 13 additional caches (these caches that are NOT used for your 50 stars)
7 Red Stripes - Find seven (7) caches with a “THORN” attribute.
6 White Stripes – Find six (6) caches with a “POISONOUS PLANT” attribute.
CHALLENGE RULES
1. All caches must be found within a 24 hour period.
2. All cache types are allowed for this challenge.
3. The sum of the stars, Difficulty & Terrain, must equal or exceed 50 stars.
4. There are no restrictions on where you complete the challenge.
5. This cache does NOT count toward Stars, Red or White Stripes.
PROOF
You must be able to prove that you completed the challenge – Within 5 DAYS of logging your find do one of the following:
1. Include your list in your log.
2. Create a PUBLIC bookmark of your qualifying finds.
3. Post a screen shot of your GSAK list.
4. Post a picture of your hand written list.
