Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the northern section of L’Amoreaux Woods, one of many green spaces that make up the Highland Creek Watershed.

The Bendale tributary, a branch of Highland Creek, flows through this north Scarborough wooded area.  The forest is the last stand of mature trees in the neighbourhood and is home to several sensitive plant species including the trout lily, white trillium and red trillium. Enjoy the winding trails and small ponds while searching for the cache.  Just south of the forest is the North Scarborough Green Loop, a 12 km hiking and biking trail – watch for the signs.

This cache has been developed by the environmental club at one of the nearby high schools – the Bethune Environmental Action Team aka BEAT
