Join us to help clean up our geocaching playground. As many of you have seen geocaching has been taking a hard hit within certain states due to leaving trash around. This is a means of giving back to the communities and showing that we care about the local parks, communities, and nature itself, our playground.
Would like to attempt yet another CITO within the Fayetteville area. Hopefully there will be as many if not more personnel than the last CITO. There were issues with work preventing a CITO last month. We will meet up at the Mazarick Memorial Park parking lot at 1:30 pm sign the log and take a before group picture. We will step out at 1:45 pm and continue until the immediate area and trails have been cleaned. The process should end around 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm depending on the amount of people we have show up. Trash bags and water will be provided. With the time of year it will be recommended to bring your own gloves as well as dress appropiately. We will be working through brush, and pine needles. Bring your pick up sticks or claws to assist if needed to avoid picking up any unwanted items. We look forward to meeting up with everyone and cleaning our area making a wonderful impact on our environment. Considering this will be in the Fayetteville greater area hopefully more people can attend and not have to travel as far to attend CITO events.
