Greatland Reviewer: Hello:

This cache page has been archived due to the lack of response to one or more prior Reviewer Note(s) about issue(s) with the cache and because the Cache Owner has not been online since 2017. If the owner would like to have the cache unarchived, please contact me through my profile as soon as possible before another cache gets placed nearby.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page requires it to go through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

This Cache was placed in honor of Veterans Day and to thank all the Soldiers from past, present and future times. Thank the family members as well, that have had to endure heartache, fear, doubt and an abundance of mixed emotions at the cost of war or conflicts. For all the sons, daughters, husbands, wives, fathers and mothers who may have made the ultimate sacrifice for their nation, country and for liberty.

I have placed this small geocache somewhat in the center of the island and right outside the Schofield and Wheeler bases. It is an easy find that you can pull off of the main road to quickly look for and find. It is best time to look for this at night or in the early mornings to limit muggles from seeing you. This is a releativily small container so bring your own pencils, pens to sign and also feel free to leave a message or prayer for others to read in the future. I met a Vietnam Veteran the night prior and he told me a story of a time that he remembered when Soldiers were coming back from far away lands and people would spit on them. He told me that it warmed his heart to see that now Soldiers are respected and treated alot better than in those days, these are the stories from the Veterans of Foreign Wars...the stories that can make a grown man cry...This day is a day of remembrance to those who have served and to take time out of our everyday busy lives for a few moments and say "THANK YOU! and GOD BLESS!"
