This cache is in homage to one of the great plays of baseball...the 6-4-3. This is a type of double play that occurs when the ball is hit to the shortstop (6), then thrown to the second baseman (4) to get the runner out, and then thrown to the first baseman (3) to get the batter out. The first out is recorded as a 6-4 out. Double plays are also known as "the pitcher's best friend" because they disrupt offense more than any other play, except for the rare triple play.
