Geocache Description:

Back in the day, the Bank of Baker was the place to cache your cash. Although the Bank has passed into history, you'll feel like you've stepped back in time as you collect the clues to solve this two-stage puzzle. The posted coordinates take you to the starting location, a mural depicting the bank as it once stood across the street to the east.

The cache is not at the posted coordinates.

The final cache is at these coordinates:  N 30 47.ABC        W 086 40.DEF

Find the numbers to replace the letters by answering the questions below. All answers can be found on-site within easy walking distance of each other. It's not a park & grab. Expect to spend 10-20 minutes collecting the coordinates and finding the cache. The Difficulty rating is based on the time it will take to seek the answers.

Begin the search for answers at the posted coordinates. Your search will include the mural, the porch of the museum and the Jeanette & Charles Henderson Heritage Park on the west side of the museum. You do not need to enter the museum to solve a clue. The museum is a cool place! A visit is definitely recommended. The Baker Block Museum is open Tuesday-Friday and the third Saturday of each month, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Admission is free.

CLUES

A = Number of letters in the first word on the sign at the corn crib.

B = Find the year the mural was painted. Add all the digits together.

C = Near an old bank safe on the porch, you’ll find a modern machine with a keypad. Divide the second digit in the third row of the keypad by two.

D = On the exterior of the Tool House are the dates of operation for the Jackson Veneer Mill. The third digit in the last year of operation is the answer.

E = Number of people who supervised the restoration of the Baker Block.

F = Number of bear statues in the park.

Wheelchair accessible -- there is a ramp to the museum porch from the parking lot and the terrain inside the park is very flat and firm.
