In the early mornings and evenings on weekdays and all day on the weekends there are many people from the nearby neighborhoods walking/runing/biking along the expansive network of trails in this park. In some places, the trees/bushes surround you on both sides of the path and you forget that you are close to a densely populated area. In other parts of the park, the grass is cut regularly and new cherry blossom trees have been recently planted. There are also several ponds where people fish (I met one guy who had caught a fish that was about 40 cm long!) and where you can see Lotus flowers in the water at certain times of the year. There are a few basketball courts, a huge rollerskating track, and a large area for playing croquet. You can ride your bicycle, walk, or jog. This is a perfect place to bring someone who is handicapped and in a wheelchair--the paths are totally flat.
Park your car/motorcyle for free at one of the two public lots (see waypoints). Lot #2 is close st to this cache. Feel free to post pics of the log sheet but please do not post pics of the cache container. When you put this container back, please be sure to position it so that it is not visible from above.
