West Side Park was the host site for Scout a Rama 2014. A good time was had by all! :-)

Nicely kept and well-equipped park with picnic tables, basketball courts, Frisbee golf, a gravel hiking trail and more.
Placed with the permission of the Marble Falls Parks Department on the occasion of Scout-a-Rama 2014.
Hill Country Scout a Rama, formerly sponsored annually by the Marble Falls Lions Club, draws together Scouts from 5 counties to camp, demonstrate skills, and earn badges.
The public is invited and encouraged to enjoy the variety of the Scouting program.
Both programs, Boy and Girl Scouts, provide a merit badge in Geocaching. The Scout-a-Rama event in 2014 placed new caches and gave instruction in our sport, starting young outdoors enthusiasts on this adventure.
First it was a really small pill bottle in a tree, then the tree was cut down. When it was in the dog park, it was really cleverly hidden, but apparently Marble Falls dog lovers are not cache lovers. I painstakingly crafted a really nice camo job, twice. Both times it disappeared. So it's been moved yet again. and again. So it's at a new place. Feel free to claim a new find.....but hide it back very thoroughly.....
Sometimes stealth is needed. You'll be in the path of the Frisbee golfers, if there are any.
Grats to BulldogBlitz for FTF! Clean sweep of the first four Scout a Rama caches! Grats to Zuehlcache for FTF at the 2nd coords! And on the 15th anniversary of Geocaching!
