Geocache Description:

A small cache near the middle of Johnson Park in Marble Falls. This was a micro placed for Scout a Rama 2014. Be aware that there is a two-stage letterbox in the same area. It is not registered with Geocaching.com and has confused some cachers. If you find the square box, it is one of the letterboxes and doesn't count. You could join letterboxing and claim that find.

A historic bridge moved here after 73 years to preserve it as an example of its kind. Renamed to honor a great lady who worked to preserved the history of the area.
Placed with the permission of the Marble Falls Parks Department on the occasion of Scout-a-Rama 2014. Actual site of the Scout a Rama is West Side Park, joined to Johnson Park by a nature trail.
Hill Country Scout a Rama, sponsored occasionally by the Marble Falls Lions Club, draws together Scouts from 5 counties to camp, demonstrate skills, and earn badges.
The public is invited and encouraged to enjoy the variety of the Scouting program.
Both programs, Boy and Girl Scouts, provide a merit badge in Geocaching. The Scout-a-Rama event in 2014 placed new caches and gave instruction in our sport, starting young outdoors enthusiasts on this adventure.
