Down a dead end road, up a muddy, rutted, broken pavement drive, and you reach one more abandoned cemetery that needed a cache.
Covenanter Presbyterians inherited their name from those who signed the National Covenant of 1638 in Scotland which protested the Stuart King Charles I's claim to be the head of the Church; they considered Jesus Christ the sole Head. They covenanted to band together and continue in their church's teachings from 1580; they also believed they had sealed a covenant with God. The cache is not a covenant, of course, but you still will be signing on the line. Reach this cache at your vehicle's own risk; the cemetery entrance is rather terrible. I suppose you could also walk from the road. As always, cemetery rules of caching apply -- be respectful of the souls and stones within; no night caching. There are high power lines nearby. I hope the coordinates don't give too much trouble. It's just a simple straightforward typical hide.
