This is the sixth stop on my cancer journey and your sixty stop on this series. I was fortunate to find out soon after my diagnosis that thyroid cancer is curable by surgery and a radioactive treatment. This Cancer Journey series takes you to my stops along the way. I am a changed person because of this diagnosis, but I beat it like many others have beat cancer.
This place holds many memories that are not all positive. Radioactive treatment and body scan took place at the nearby hospital. Soon after these procedures I was given a cancer-free diagnosis. 
High Muggle and traffic area...be careful to replace lid securely and in the original location.
