Super Mario Jump Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

mobywv: Wow, this area has really grown up with foliage. The trail leading to stage one is basically inaccessible at this point. Perhaps that explains the lack of finds. Not sure how much easier it will be to access in the dead of winter. So I'm just gonna go ahead and archive this one and open the area up for new caches.

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

This is fairly short three stage multi-cache. All three stages are located on the outskirts of the shopping center. Stages 1 and 3 fairly standard. The second stage is a bit more interesting. The coordinates given are for the first stage. To get to it, park at the suggested parking coordinates and then walk around the nearby fence onto the grass. There are no shortcuts. You must take this route to get to the first stage. Once you've gone around the fence, simply follow your gps to stage 1.

Once you find STAGE 1, please read the directions and note the coordinates for Stage 2 and partial coordinates for Stage 3. Next, head over to Stage 2. Stage 2 is a VIRTUAL stage. A boost or jump will be required to discover and interact with this stage. If you're capable of doing a pullup and at least 6 foot tall, you should be able to discover and manipulate the stage without issue. If you have poor upper body strength and/or are a bit on the short side, you might need the assistance of another cacher(s) or object (mushroom?) to get a big enough boost.

After finding STAGE 2, you should have the the complete coordinates for STAGE THREE. The third and final stage (the actual cache) should be an easy find. No jumping required.

Last, but not least, please do attempt to do this cache at night. Indeed, the terrain is a bit trickier than it looks back here. As for the kiddies, I think most ages 10 and up should be OK to take along for this one. They might even come in handy. All kids are different though.

Good luck! Have fun! Happy caching!

Congratulations to ibepaul for FTF!
