A chance to learn a little of the history of early 1900's logging, and some of the equipment used to accomplish timber harvesting in Scott and Smith counties. A nice stop just a mile from I-20, with information concerning the National Forest and restrooms inside the Bienville National Forest office during business hours, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday thru Friday (except for holidays). There is visitor parking, a picnic area and a chance to stretch you legs while walking the 3/4 mile informative walking trail, among some of the trees of the Bienville National Forest.
