Some of the oldest caches are virtuals and although they were discontinued in January 2006 there are still more than 200 active virtuals, not including YOSMs, in the UK alone that were "grandfathered" and may still be found.
This cache is at the published co-ordinates but, as it is a challenge cache, it is necessary to complete three "qualifications" before you can claim a find. It is necessary for you to provide evidence of your qualification through your Geocaching Profile, a bookmarked list, or your geocache log.
To claim a "smiley" for this cache you need to have successfully completed the following three tasks:
1) Find fifty virtual caches.
For this particular task only, YOSMs (GC45CC Ye Ole Survey Monuments) may be included.
At the time of publication, my "Public Profile" showed that I had found 126 which included 83 YOSMs.
2) Find five "traditional" virtual caches in one day.
My list of five virtuals in a day, all on 7 November 2014, are:
GC5E4D Catastrope, Calamity, Cataclysm Part 3
GC5E4E Catastrope, Calamity, Cataclysm Part 4
GC56DD The London Rainbow Cache 1 - Red
GC56E3 The London Rainbow Cache 3 - Yellow
GC56E7 The London Rainbow Cache 6 - Indigo
3) Find five virtual caches placed in five different years.
My list of five virtual caches that I've found that were placed in five different years are:
Placed 28/03/2001 GC1330 Where's George's Kidney Stone found 16/06/2010
Placed 31/02/2002 GC4762 The Stonegate Devil found 07/09/2010
