Geocache Description:

The monument of Independence on “Krounebierg”
The National Monument of Independence on “Krounebierg” was inaugurated in 1959. There had been a first monument at this place to commemorate the centenary of the independency of the country (1839-1939) which had been destroyed by the German occupants in 1939. From Krounebierg, there is a superb panoramic view over the valleys of the Alzette, the Mamer and the Eisch.

Narodowy Pomnik Niepodległości na "Krounebierg" został zainaugurowany w 1959 roku był tam pierwszy pomnik w tym miejscu z okazji setnej rocznicy niezależności kraju (1839-1939), który został zniszczony przez niemieckich okupantów w 1939. Od Krounebierg, jest wspaniały panoramiczny widok na doline Alzette, Mamer i Eisch.
