Estrella Peak Traditional Cache

This is for experienced desert hikers only.  If you have ever been airlifted off Camelback Mountain - this is not for you. :)  It is quite a hike up and can be quite difficult at times.  Getting down is even tougher of course.  The view is incredible!

There is a bike/ATV trail that branchs off from the paved service road near Estrella/San Miguel intersection that will take you to the foot of the mountain.  I think it is slightly easier climbing the south side. Be careful and have fun!  Enjoy the view while having a snack and hydrating before descending.  Look out for varmints and cactus. I had a TB on me that I left in the cache if the FTF wants it along with some other toys.  I left a pen as well.
