Geocache Description:

A quick wee cache and dash hidden near Elvanfoot on the A702

I wonder if you can work out where the name comes from?

Elvanfoot is a little village in South Lanarkshire. It used to have a train station and was the location of the junction where the Leadhills & Wanlockhead railway used to meet the West Coast Main Line. Good views of the River Clyde, The Suspension Bridge and those windmills. There used to be a cache here before the barrier was changed.

Parking located before/after chevron signs depending on direction of travel. The cache is a micro which may require tweezers but will definitely require a writing utensil. Please ensure it is replaced properly. Thanks

Well Done to Ayrshirelass on the FTF!
