A beautiful area with fantastic views
This cache is placed in the Mont Rochelle reserve. The views from the top on a clear day are spectacular. One can see Table Mountain, Simonsberg, Theewaterskloof dam and Berg River Dam. The hike itself will take about 2 hours up. Elavation at the top is 1420m , but fortunately one starts at the top of the pass (730m). Take your time. The route zigzags up the mountain making it easier to gain the elevation. Stop along the way - there are some other caches to do. Please note that a permit is required to enter the reserve.
