Agios Myronas is a small village located south of Heraklion, & somewhat in the middle of Crete. It offers many scenic views, including the highest mountain in Crete - Mt. Ida (2456 m). We stayed here in this village, in a renovated olive mill (built in 1898), & on a night's drive we spotted a well-lit courtyard that spiked our curiosity! The next day, we found this forgotten church, which seems overshadowed by the main church - Agiou Myronos (which also has a cache :) !).
It offers views of rolling hills dotted with rows of olive trees.
The reference point shows the best road to access this church - it doesn't seem connected on google maps, but it is!
The Cache:
A small, cylindrical container that holds a logbook & the official geocache declaration, & is in a ziplock bag. Please bring a pen :)
Happy caching!
Special thanks to OMILOS for maintenance :)
