Geocache Description:

Welcome to this quaint little town!

La Foa is the gateway to north half of Grand Terre and needed a cache.  The logical place to put one is near the bridge. There is an interesting history associated with the bridge but rather than have me give you a recap, best to visit the history page (also linked here. The bridge (called the Passerelle Marguerite" was designed by a student of Gustave Eiffel.)
