I've lived in this area for over a dozen years, but was completely unaware of this tiny cemetery until just recently. The graves here are said to include Revolutionary War veterans, as well as some families of local interest (Thompson, Avery, etc.). It's been close to a century since someone had been buried here
Some of the graves are in rough shape, either through vandalism or age. Please tread carefully. No night caching, please
Parking is available at the Tops Supermarket, or at the DeWitt firehouse. The slope from the parking lot can be steep and slippery; there appears to be a small staircase behind the firehouse. Please bring your own pen/pencil
