The listed coordinates mark the Start / Finish line of a 10k road race I've run the past couple years. You must solve the puzzle below to determine the final coordinates.
To keep my mind occupied as the minutes and kilometers pass by while I run, I keep my eyes open for possible places to locate a geocache. This year during the race, I spotted a good location somewhere during the second mile of the race. When I finished the race, I went and found a couple buddies of mine to see if they would accompany me for a cache hide. Unlike me, they had run the 5k race, as they were afraid of having to chase me down in the 10k! One of them, Walt Estabrook, didn't really have to worry about eating my dust, as he averaged 11.445642 miles / hour for his race and won it! The other friend, Nate Orthmann, wasn't afraid of running with me either, because he's just out there for the exercise and to enjoy the great outdoors. He averaged 6.052972 miles / hour for the race.
If you have a seat at GZ, you will be on conservation land and you would see the runners in both the 5k and the 10k races pass by twice on the road, once on the way out and again on the way back to the finish. If you turn around and look the other way, you should have a nice view too. Hope to see you next year!
You are looking for a small sized plastic container. This looks like a fairly popular area for residents to walk so be sure to hide the container well when you replace it!
11/26 mid-day update... Updated the cache description to switch the runner's names. I had Nate's and Walt's times switched! For the record, 8ManAfter managed to FTF it before this fix, using other clues I guess!
You can check your answers for this puzzle on GeoChecker.com.
Congratulations to 8ManAfter on the FTF!
