This geocache is all about the journey! I set this cache while on the descent from finding "Duuudddeee!!!" cache on the nearby peak. The hike was fantastically beautiful with 360 degree views on top. If you want spoiler info read the Hint and view the picture titled Spoiler Photo, otherwise enjoy the hunt.
To access this cache, from South of Roosevelt Lake on Hwy 188 turn NE on Hwy 288, after apx .37 miles LOS (Line Of Sight, not road miles) turn SE onto Apache Trail, this turn is onto a dirt trail directly behind a guard rail, lock in your 4WD here, follow Apache Trail apx 1.9 miles LOS to the 2d cattle fence gate, do not go thru 2d gate, park here, theres a minor trail that leads NE from here, follow it apx .88 miles LOS to Salt Peak Tank, from the tank area, look up and to the SE, you will see a saddle between 2 peaks closer to the peak on the left, make your way apx .33 miles LOS cross country up to this saddle, this cache "Little Dude" is on the peak to the left, the peak to the right is the home of "Duuuudddeeeee!!!" cache. Use the listed Waypoints along with Map pic's 1,2,3 and Overhead Pic 1,2 to plan your approach. My hiking time from where I parked to "Duuudddeee!!!" cache was 1 hour 15 minutes, hike time to "Little Dude" should be apx 1 hour. There is cell phone reception with data at the parking point and on top of the upper peak at "Duuudddeee!!!" cache.
