Geocache Description:

A fun, short hike to find this cache.....

AT NIGHT!!!!

That little Birdie left a little something behind so you could follow it's tracks to the cache.  Hmmm, Glowing Poo, who knew?

This Cache was placed for a special friend.  I so thought number 1000 should be more than a PNG.  So here is my first go at a Night cache!  Gotta have a lot of first’s right, and a little fun?

You will arrive at an area call Cub Creek Recreation Area.  There are 4 drives to enter Cub Creek Recreation Area. The first is the North Drive and by entering this driveway you will see the Dam, a small play area, an open shelter and primitive bathrooms, and the beach area for swimming.  In the next drive you can find a camper or two at times, and possibly someone fishing.  The 3rd drive the boat launch.  There is a nice mowed walking trail that leads between the first, second, and third areas I have mentioned.  In the 4th (and most southern) drive, is where you will find most campers, and more fishing is done in this area.  Ok, now you have a little layout of the area.

The coordinates should take you to the second drive (the smaller camping area.) Go ahead and park your vehicle here (for a short walk) or at one of the other drives (for a longer fun walk) and come here to start.

Now: Walk to the Coordinates to begin your adventure!

As you look around you will notice some obvious landmarks to help get your self-positioned (and yes they are noticeable in the dark), Evergreen Trees, The Lake, a few other trees may be seen, maybe the fire pit.  Position yourself with your back to the evergreen trees (hint: the road will also be to your back), the drive that brought you here should be to your right (you know, your other left!), and the water should be in front of you.  If you cannot get lined you may need to go in a group, I don't want anyone getting lost!!

Now for the fun part.... get your flash light out and look for the glowing birdie poo left for you!!

One last hint:  near the end of your search please be careful.  The footing is safe, just go slow so you don't twist an ankle. You will NOT be dangerously close to the water during your search!

PLEASE take it easy on the cache and leave it as you find it or better so the next adventurer will have a fun time.  BYOP!
